What would you do?

What would I do if I knew I could not fail?  I would write a book.  So... I have decided I am at least going to try. I'm giving myself 3 to 5 years to finish it, since I'm still mom of an 11 yo and almost 9 yo, and some days I feel like driving the mom taxi is all I do. Do I have anything down on paper?  Not yet, but I do have thoughts rolling around in my head.
So... what would you do?

Loving socks

Last night I got together with my knitting group and helped 7 of the gals learn to do the Strick-ly Socks method of knitting socks.   I think it went really well.  People caught on quickly, and seemed excited about it.  It was fun to share in the excitement. Watching the women help each other out and seeing the looks on their faces when they "got it" was so fun! I feel honored that they let me share the technique that I am so pumped about! Thanks Ladies!

Strick-ly Awesome

I am loving Candace Eisner Strick's new book Strick-ly socks.  I have made socks in the past  but not loved it. I have always loved sock yarn so I was always looking for something else to do with it; baby sweaters, baby hats, etc. Now I am in love with socks! Even more reason to buy sock yarn, as if i don't already have enough!
More later, but check out her new book! I love it!!!!

Good Morning Fellow Knitters,
I love to knit and love to share everything about knitting.  In this blog, I will share what is on my needles, what I have learned, fun new patterns I have come across, and anything interesting happening in  the store where I work, Uniquely Knit in New London MN.
